Academic & School Services
HEALthy MiND Academic Assessments are used to gauge and compare a student's performance in educational pursuits. These assessments focus primarily on the reading, writing, and math skills that students typically learn while attending primary and secondary education. These forms of assessments compare a student's skills to those of other same-aged peers and identify areas of strength and weakness, which can be used to support a student’s success in school.

File Reviews & Second Opinions
Our file review service entails a meticulous examination of past records and documentation pertaining to psychological or behavioral diagnoses and recommendations by one of our accredited psychologists. This comprehensive assessment provides clients with the invaluable opportunity to discern potential inaccuracies in prior diagnoses, gain alternative perspectives, and corroborate the veracity of existing records. These consultations can be used for legal, insurance, criminal, medical, and occupational purposes.
Intervention
Intervention consultation services are primarily used in the context of domestic violence and addictions. These consultations can be helpful in aiding family members or loved ones access treatment programs or other services to help their unique situation. These consults can also help in better understanding how to create an environment to encourage loved ones to access support.
Return to Work Planning
Healthcare workers facing psychological injuries, including trauma and addiction, may need specialized assessment and planning, under Section 118 of the Health Professions Act. A successful, safe return-to-work evaluation, as administered by HEALthy Mind Centres, includes a careful examination of a worker's overall fitness, addressing psychosocial needs and recommendations in the context of the individual’s employment requirements. The implementation of modifications or work accommodations is essential to supporting the worker and facilitating their participation in a meaningful, modified return-to-work plan.
