Training & Workshops

We provide training and workshop services across numerous topics and areas of expertise. HEALthy Mind Centres training sessions typically feature a presentation on a behavioral or psychological topic delivered by one of our skilled therapists or psychologists at your preferred location.

We offer training sessions and opportunities for professional development. Our team is trained and qualified to deliver training sessions for topics in psychology and psychometrics.

HEALthy Mind Centres services are an ideal opportunity for school staff or companies looking for professional development in the area of psychology.

Professional Development Training

Our personal development training opportunities are intended for large groups, cohorts, or corporate events. These typically involve our trained psychologists preparing a presentation and learning opportunity to develop skills related to mental health and wellness. The goal is to increase both awareness and skills in the particular area of training.

We have delivered training to a diverse range of professionals, including medical students, firefighters, corporate teams, child care staff, teachers, and fellow psychologists.

Our training topics have included psychometric test administration, workplace conflict resolution and de-escalation, identifying Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) warning signs, mental health and preventative wellness strategies, and PTSD and trauma prevention.

Workshops & Presentations on a variety of topics

Our workshop services function similarly to our skilled training services but offer opportunities for other audiences. Workshops allow our psychologists to provide presentations on a variety of topics related to psychology and behaviour in schools, the workplace, and elsewhere.

These services are designed for a diverse audience, encompassing school-aged children, students, corporate entities, and various other groups.

Past presentations have included workshops on creating healthy boundaries at school, empathy education for children, self-care and managing burn out, emotional regulation for students, and creating trauma-informed classrooms and workplaces.
